  This store is a fire hazard waiting to happen. No back door, flammable materials in close proximity to each other, and at times very crowded. Not to mention located in a plaza that has had fires in the past. An Inspector should really take a look at this store to see if it's up to code

  We held a birthday party for 12 kids (6 years old) at the store. The kids had a great time and the store owner did an incredible job of keeping everyone engaged and excited. The kids had a blast. We love this store and shop there regularly.

  Nice little store in a convenient spot from where I work.  Plenty of parking in the lot so there should be no problem there.  I was looking for D&D miniatures and found some I had not seen before, so it was a successful visit.  There are many different items, games etc. if you are looking for other things.  I didn't need any help, but the staff was nice during checkout.  I was pleased that there were gaming tables for people to get together.  Definitely will be visiting again as one always needs nasty things to kill clumsy adventurers.

I've come to 3 Trolls for two decades and have a very close relationship with the owners. They're truly exceptional human beings and that's to say nothing of how knowledgeable and intelligent they are both about their products and about life in general.

Now, admittedly, this store isn't necessarily for everyone, as it has a number of niche and specialty items, but if you're remotely nerdy or into miniatures, puzzles, board games or comic books in the slightest this place is well worth a look. Chances are if you stop in, even if just to look around, you'll find something that interests you.

  Always a fun place to stop when in Chelmsford. Kids and I love all the miniatures and picking up new dice. You can never have too many dice. Is it an addiction?!  Maybe!!!   First came here about ten years ago when I started collecting board games; this was the only place around that had a copy of a game I had played years before (Games Workshop's Talisman), and it was definitely worth the hike then.

I went back recently, and they still have a minis focus, selling terrain and paints as well, with a decent puzzle section and a number of car model kits as well.

There were a number of nice classic/world board game sets (ex. chess, go, mahjong), some RPGs (mostly 4th Ed D&D, d20, and older White Wolf), a rack of graphic novels, and some Magic cards as well.

Unfortunately, the (hobby) board game selection, which I came back here for, was VERY sparse this time around; though this is a decent-sized store with plenty of shelves around the store, surprisingly few games were actually on them (I actually thought the store might have been going out of business, as there was so much empty shelf-space).

I can't say it was worth the trip for me, and the lack of updates on the website is concerning (the last Magic tips are from 2007, mid-2011 is the most recent newsletter, etc.,), but if you're looking for a local gaming store with friendly staff, this is a good find; if you're specifically into model-building or miniature gaming, this may be your go-to store.
